Terms of Service

1. The Service

QualeSpiaggia provides aggregated weather-marine information for 2,676 Italian beaches. On the website, all beach pages and all basic functions are free and do not require registration.

2. Owner

CAPITA srl, based in Lecce, Italy. Contacts: hello@qualespiaggia.com. PEC and VAT available in contacts.

3. QualeSpiaggia Pro (subscription)

The Pro plan, where available, includes perfect sea email alerts + 7-day forecasts, with two plans:

• Pro Weekly — €3.99 / week (22% VAT included). Automatic renewal every 7 days until cancellation. Cancelable at any time from your Stripe Customer Portal: no further renewal, keep access until the end of the already paid period.
• Pro Lifetime — €8.99 one-time (22% VAT included). One-time payment, unlimited access forever.

Payments are managed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (Ireland). We do not see or store your card data. You will receive an electronic invoice if you enter your VAT number at checkout.

3-day free trial: after confirming the signup email, you have 72 hours of full access for free. At expiration, you return to the free version; no automatic charge, no card required.

4. Right of withdrawal (EU law)

You have the right to withdraw within 14 days from the purchase of the Lifetime plan and obtain a full refund, pursuant to Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code) and EU Directive 2011/83. For the Weekly plan, you can cancel before the next renewal from the Customer Portal — no additional amount will be charged.

For the refund of the Lifetime plan: write to hello@qualespiaggia.com within 14 days. We proceed with the refund within 14 days of the request.

5. Liability limitations

The weather and marine conditions shown are statistical forecasts derived from public weather-marine models. They may differ from local reality. They do not replace official information from rescue services, the Coast Guard, or lifeguards.

Bathing ordinances (beach closures, diving bans) are indicated as a reference but you must always verify on-site and through official municipal channels. We are not responsible for decisions made based on the information provided here. In case of doubt about safety, do not enter the water and contact 1530 (Harbor Master's Office).

6. Permitted use

You can use QualeSpiaggia to plan your beach days, share links with friends, integrate our data into editorial articles citing the source. You cannot: resell data or Pro access, perform massive scraping, reformat the service as if it were yours, share your Pro account with third parties.

7. Intellectual property

Logo, graphics, and code are owned by CAPITA srl. The descriptive texts of the beach pages and the data published in /data/v2/ are released under Creative Commons BY 4.0 license (you can reuse them citing the source). Third-party data remains subject to its own licenses: OpenStreetMap (ODbL), Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0), ISTAT, EEA; photos remain the property of their authors, under the license stated in /crediti-foto.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. We will notify you with a banner on the homepage for 30 days and via email to those subscribed to the newsletter if the change concerns paid plans.

9. Dispute resolution

In case of a complaint, try contacting us first at hello@qualespiaggia.com — we resolve most issues informally. For alternative resolution, you can contact the EU Commission's ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.

10. Jurisdiction

For EU consumers: consumer's court of residence. For professionals / B2B: exclusive court of Lecce.
