Imperia: 5 beaches, mainly facing southeast. Bordighera: 4 beaches, mainly facing south. Cervo: 3 beaches, mainly facing southeast.

Municipalities with the most sheltered beaches: Sanremo and Imperia. When the Tramontane (N) blows, the beaches facing south stay sheltered: 39 of 40. Municipalities with the most sheltered beaches: Sanremo and Ventimiglia. With the Sirocco (SE) or with the Libeccio (SW): none of these beaches gets an offshore wind.
